THE CATCH
Swordfish, marlin, tuna, sailfish, dorado, sea bass, wahoo, roosterfish, and snook are some of the species that you will be catching throughout the year.

Costa Rican waters are famous for year 'round sport fishing. While there may be some variances through the seasons, game fishing is very consistent all year long.
What to expect?
April through September is an excellent time for marlin, sails, dolphin and tuna. The seas are usually quite calm and it often rains in the afternoon. By November, the rains are diminishing and a variety of species are caught. December through March the winds pick up and the boats often venture further afield to get out of the wind. December through March you will fish mostly for marlin, tuna, dorado and sailfish.

THE BOAT
A mid-sided boat will be provided for your excursion. Typically a 25'-32' sport-fishing boat that will easily accomodate 4-5 fishermen. Fully rigged, including tackle and bait along with a competent, knowledgeable crew.

 

THE FEAST
Bring the catch of the day back to the hotel and our chef will prepare your prize with culinary expertise. Prepared just the way you want it; and served in style for your dining pleasure.
